Trashy Steez Prints ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and protects your personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
1.Who we are
Trashy Steez Prints is a custom print and branding studio based in South Africa, with nationwide delivery. You can reach us any time on WhatsApp or by phone at +27 68 057 0848.
2.What we collect
When you use our quote or contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address (if you provide one), and anything you tell us about your enquiry (such as the product, quantity, and notes).
3.Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver our printing service, and contact you about your request. If you tick the marketing box, we may also send you occasional offers and updates.
4.Is it voluntary?
Yes. You do not have to give us your information. But if you do not, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or provide the service.
5.How we protect it
Your details are stored in a secured database and sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
6.Where it is stored
We use trusted service providers (such as Supabase for our database and Vercel for hosting) who may store data on servers outside South Africa, under data protection standards comparable to POPIA.
7.Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business (hosting, database, and messaging), and only as far as needed to serve you.
8.Marketing
We only send marketing messages (by SMS or email) to people who have opted in. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by messaging us on WhatsApp. We will not send you marketing unless you asked for it.
9.How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose above, or as the law requires, and then we delete it.
10.Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to withdraw your marketing consent at any time. To do any of these, just message us on WhatsApp or call +27 68 057 0848.
11.Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za, or email POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
